Description

The DEFIGARD 5000 is a versatile and comprehensive lifesaving device designed for use by clinical staff and trained responders:

• Multipulse Biowave® biphasic defibrillation (2–180 J) via paddles, adhesive pads, or internal “spoons,” with automatic adjustment when pediatric electrodes are connected.

• Multimodal operation:

  • Internal defibrillation capability for surgical settings
    Selection is automatic via removable cassettes.

• Integrated external pacemaker with fix, demand, and overdrive pacing modes, usable via pads.

• Data management:
  Internally records up to 45 minutes of ECG, 500 events, and 24‑hour trends; printing via built‑in 3‑channel recorder; exporting via USB, Ethernet, or GSM/modem.

• Power system: dual power source—supports mains, built‑in lithium battery (≈190 shocks or 2 h monitoring), or DC input from ambulance systems.
